Youngin Bio develops ramen for dogs
Youngin Bio (CEO In-Jeong Choi) developed ‘Ansim Daengmyeon’, a dog-only ramen under the companion animal brand ‘Dr.Patpat’, and released it to the public through the crowdfunding platform Wadiz. Unlike conventional ramen, ‘Ansim Daengmyeon’ reduces the amount of flour as much as possible, and uses white rice barley malt, a local agricultural product from Gunsan, which is rich in beta-glucan, a type of dietary fiber, and vitamin B, as the main ingredient to not only improve the intestinal health of companion animals but also the local area. It is expected that the effect of 1 stone and 3 trillion won in income creation and expansion of farm households is expected.
Ansim Daengmyeon is a pet food that even dogs can eat healthy by removing salt from the soup, which is the most problematic of ramen, and adding yellow pollack rich in amino acids, protein, and collagen with an emphasis on taste and health. As soon as it was released on Wadiz, the funding rate reached ‘1300%’ and it is gaining explosive popularity.
Choi In-jeong, CEO of Youngin Bio, said, “I decided to develop healthy ramen for companion animals after getting an idea from Daro, his pet poodle, who wants to continue eating boiled ramen after work. We developed the product with health and safety in mind.”
As a preliminary social enterprise designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and a social venture company, Youngin Bio Co., Ltd., a social venture company, has continued research since its establishment in 2018. + (Doctor Plus) was launched through the Wadiz funding site, and the funding achievement rate was 845%.
